I appreciate the invitation to think along the possibilities of AI in cultural and intellectual production. In particular, I welcomed that sharing of the prompts. This process of creating, refining, reframing, reviewing useful prompts requires high intellectual investment and forward thinking of the project. It’s not easy work. Sure, it can, and it’s often done sloppily. But it needs not be. Neither is a replacement for the human creativity.

Thank you.

My intuition is saying there is a contrarian essentialist response abrewing.

But it’s reassuring to hear from you.

Happy Halloween.

Ha! Not at all! I honestly meant what I typed. I find myself befuddled by the partir ways in which every new tech innovation that transform knowledge production, culture, and neuro-biology are treated as thread to a “purified” notion of knowledge production. Until that moment when it’s integrated as an everyday tool. Sure, every leap forward raises important questions to address but non-engagement is not one.

As someone who thinks often with AI tools, the modeling you performed caught my attention about possibilities of what knowledge production, cultural artifacts could emerge.
